A third party lab tested this construction and found formaldehyde not detected.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFlat to the floor, flush to the wall, and it arrives assembled.\u003cbr\u003eIt sits on a full length plinth 2.4 in (6 cm) thick instead of legs, spreading the load across its whole width. The plinth is set back so the dresser clears a baseboard, and a cord channel in the top lets a lamp or charger wire disappear behind it. Nine drawers get used constantly, so they ride on metal undermount rails with a soft close, quiet and even all the way out. No flat pack, no hardware bag.
