OUR STORY
CHUHU began with a simple question: why is real solid wood furniture so hard to find at a fair price? So we built our own path. We source top grade hardwoods, work side by side with the craftspeople who shape them, and bring every piece straight to your door.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
CHUHU was founded on a simple belief: beautiful furniture should be within everyone's reach.
We design with intention, bringing together quality materials, careful craftsmanship, and timeless style to create pieces that feel at home today and for years to come.
OUR MATERIALS
FAS and SUP are the top grades in hardwood lumber, cut from the clearest part of the log for the fewest knots and the most even grain. Most of our pieces are built from cherry, white oak and black walnut. Cherry brings warmth, white oak a quiet calm, and walnut a rich rarity, and all three deepen in color over years of use.
OUR CRAFTSMANSHIP
Machine Precision, Human Judgment
Modern machinery gives every piece its accuracy, cutting and joining each part to exact tolerances. Our craftspeople give it the rest. They select the boards, match the grain, sand and finish by hand, and check every piece before it leaves the factory. The result is furniture that is consistent in build and considered in every detail.
