Welcome to CHUHU. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and the purchase of our products. Throughout the site, the terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to CHUHU. By visiting our site and/or purchasing furniture, home goods, or related services from us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms, including those additional policies referenced herein or available by hyperlink.

1. General Conditions & Eligibility

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence. Our products and services are intended primarily for personal, residential, and non-commercial use. Commercial use of our furniture is not permitted unless expressly agreed to in writing by CHUHU. You agree not to use our products or website for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor violate any laws in your jurisdiction.

2. Products, Materials & Natural Variations

We take immense pride in crafting solid wood dining and bedroom furniture, upholstered beds, mattresses, sofas, lighting, and home accessories. Please note the following regarding our furniture pieces:

Color & Finish Display: We make every effort to display the colors, textures, and finishes of our products as accurately as possible. However, actual colors may vary depending on your monitor settings and room lighting.
Natural Material Characteristics: Because our pieces utilize natural solid wood and authentic upholstery, natural variations in wood grain, tone, knots, minor seasonal movement, and textile slubs or shading are inherent characteristics of authentic materials and craftsmanship, not manufacturing defects.
Custom & Pre-Order Pieces: Made-to-order, custom, and pre-order furniture is subject to individual production lead times as indicated on the product page. Because materials are committed upon order confirmation, custom-made and personalized pieces are non-cancellable and non-refundable once production commences, except where defective or required by law.

3. Accuracy of Billing & Order Acceptance

We reserve the right to refuse or limit any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order, particularly where orders appear to be placed by unauthorized resellers or distributors.

In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the email, billing address, or phone number provided at the time the order was made. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store.

4. Pricing & Payment

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. All prices are displayed in the applicable checkout currency. Payment must be completed via our authorized payment gateways prior to order processing and dispatch.

5. Shipping, Freight Delivery & Customer Responsibilities

All furniture orders are shipped and delivered in accordance with our Shipping Information policy. Because our inventory includes oversized solid wood furniture and upholstered goods, specialized freight handling applies:

Delivery Options: Orders are dispatched via Standard Parcel Delivery, Room of Choice / Threshold Delivery, or White Glove Delivery & Assembly, as specified at checkout or on the product page.
Measuring Your Space: It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure that ordered furniture items will fit through all doorways, hallways, stairwells, and elevators leading to the designated room. Additional handling surcharges may apply for multi-flight walk-ups above the second floor without elevator access.
Delivery Scheduling & Receipt: For freight and large furniture deliveries, our logistics partners will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. An adult (18 years of age or older) must be present during the scheduled window to inspect and sign for the delivery.
Transit Inspection: Please inspect all packaging and furniture upon arrival. Any exterior packaging damage or defects must be noted on the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading (BOL). Transit damage or missing items must be reported to CHUHU Customer Support within 48 hours of delivery with accompanying photos.
Building Access & Permits: Customers are responsible for notifying CHUHU in advance of any building restrictions, required Certificates of Insurance (COI), or service elevator reservations.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

Our return and exchange practices are governed by our Returns, Exchanges & Warranty Policy:

15-Day Return Window: You may request a return or exchange within 15 calendar days of delivery for eligible items that are unopened, unused, in original packaging, and suitable for resale.
Change-of-Mind Returns: For approved change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for applicable return shipping, freight collection, disassembly, and remote-area fees. Original delivery and white-glove assembly fees are non-refundable.
Non-Returnable Items: Custom-made, personalized, clearance, final-sale products, and certain hygienic items cannot be returned unless defective.
Return Authorization: All returns require prior written authorization from CHUHU Customer Support before items are shipped back.

7. Limited Warranty & Service Coverage

CHUHU provides limited warranties on eligible furniture pieces as detailed in our Returns, Exchanges & Warranty Policy:

Solid Wood Furniture: 10-Year Limited Warranty covering structural cracking or deformation of the frame or load-bearing components under normal indoor residential use.
Upholstered Beds & Mattresses: 10-Year Limited Warranty covering internal spring breakage, permanent indentations exceeding 3 cm, and structural seam separation under normal residential use.
Upholstered Sofas: 5-Year Limited Warranty covering internal spring breakage, permanent cushion indentations exceeding 3 cm, and structural seam separation under normal residential use.
Hardware & Electrical Components: 5-Year Limited Warranty covering functional failure of hydraulic mechanisms, powered reclining mechanisms, motors, and integrated light strips.

Warranty coverage excludes normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes, stains, pet damage, commercial use, exposure to extreme humidity or temperature, improper maintenance, and unauthorized modifications or repairs.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, photographs, furniture designs, product descriptions, logos, graphics, icons, and software, is the exclusive property of CHUHU or our content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property and copyright laws. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of our site or products without express written permission from us.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Except as expressly provided in our written warranties or required by applicable consumer law, our site and all products and services delivered to you are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CHUHU disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall CHUHU, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or any products procured through the site, including lost profits or business interruption. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, not to exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CHUHU and our affiliates, partners, officers, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

11. Severability & Entire Agreement

In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms without affecting the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Information, and Returns, Exchanges & Warranty Policy, constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and CHUHU regarding your purchases and use of our store.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you products or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which CHUHU operates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights available to you under local legislation.
