Solid Wood Sideboard with Hutch, Mid Century Coffee Bar Cabinet with Stone Top

This is a coffee bar, a pantry and a dining room buffet, all in one wall of storage. The Silver Wing sideboard with hutch is built from 100% solid wood with zero veneer, and it's certified to the ENF standard, one of the strictest formaldehyde limits for wood furniture in the world.

The wood is poplar that has been thermally carbonized for 96 hours. The treatment makes it harder and more stable, so it resists cracking, warping and mold. Each piece is hand stained, sealed with two penetrating primer coats, then finished with an open pore matte topcoat that lets the natural grain show.

The counter is sintered stone, 32 mm thick at the edge. It stands up to hot pans, knife scratches and spills, and it sits at 34 in (86 cm), a comfortable height for making coffee or prepping food without bending. Behind it, an enamel backsplash takes magnetic hooks and shelves, and a sliding rail holds a wood shelf and a paper towel bar.

Below the counter, a pull out shelf lets a rice cooker or kettle vent its steam without hitting the upper cabinet. Push to open drawers keep utensils sorted. A tall single door cabinet fits a water jug and has a hole for cables and water lines. Above, glass sliding doors protect jars and glassware on adjustable glass shelves, and a wine glass rack hangs under the open shelf. Choose one cabinet for a corner coffee station, or a wider unit to fill a full dining room or kitchen.
