Iso Tall Bookshelf with Drawers, White Oak Veneer and Carbon Steel Open Back Bookcase

The Iso pairs thick white oak veneer shelves with slim carbon steel side panels in a cool gray white baked finish. Stripped of trim and hardware, it's a Japanese-inspired bookcase built on clean horizontal lines. Its open back lets the wall show through, so a full shelf still looks light.

Five tiers that fit real books:
Each of the five tiers has 12 inches (30.5 cm) of clear height, enough for tall hardcovers, record sleeves and speakers as well as everyday paperbacks. At 70.9 inches (180 cm) tall, everything from the top shelf to the bottom stays within easy reach.

The shelves are 1.6 inches (40 mm) thick, so a full load of heavy books won't bow them. Every edge is laser sealed with a seamless band, so the oak surface and the edge read as one piece. Pair the bookshelf with the drawer base, a 15 inch (38 cm) high cabinet with one wide soft-close drawer. Inside, the drawer measures 27.6 x 16.5 x 5.1 inches (70 x 42 x 13 cm), which suits files, games, chargers and anything else you'd rather not display. The top gives you somewhere to sit while you browse.

Sits flush against your wall:
If your room has baseboards, choose the Baseboard Cutout version. The steel side panels are notched to clear a 2.4 inch (6 cm) baseboard, so the shelf sits tight against the wall. The drawer base comes with the cutout as standard.
