Each rear leg is cut from a single length of wood rather than pieced together, which means fewer joints in the part of the frame that works hardest and less chance of a wobble developing. Non slip pads on the feet cut the scraping noise when you push the chair back, protect your floor from scratches, and add enough grip to stop it sliding out from under you.
