Modular Storage Cabinet, Mid Century Stackable Cube in Thermally Modified Poplar
One module, six fronts, as many walls as you want
The Silver Wing modular cabinet is a single 20.9 × 13.8 × 19.7 in (53 × 35 × 50 cm) box offered with six different fronts. Buy one as a nightstand or an end table, buy two side by side for a 42 in low TV stand, buy four in a 2 × 2 block for a storage wall. The footprint never changes, so modules line up flush in any order and any count, and you can add to the run later without the proportions breaking.
Choose the front, not the cabinet
The glass module pairs a tinted glass door with an ultra-clear glass shelf inside, so what’s on the shelf stays visible but dust-free. The display module is open: three 16 cm (6.3 in) stainless-shelf cubbies above a drawer, for books laid flat, vinyl sleeves, or baskets. Two-drawer modules come in cream or green, and single-door modules in the same two colors. Mix the quiet ones along the bottom and put the glass or open module where you want the eye to land.
Modules that actually hold together
Each cabinet has felt strips across the underside, so it slides into place without scratching the floor and stays put once it’s there. Adjacent cabinets bolt to each other, which is the difference between a modular system and a few boxes pushed together. A four-module run moves as one piece and won’t creep apart when you open a drawer. The base carries a recessed notch along the back so the run can sit tight to a baseboard instead of standing off the wall.
Solid wood, with the grain left visible
The case is thermally modified poplar. The wood is heat-treated in a sealed, oxygen-free kiln, which drives out the moisture that makes softwood move and darkens it right through rather than on the surface. Because this is solid wood and not a composite panel, there’s no panel adhesive in the case, which is where added formaldehyde comes from in most furniture at this price. Expect real wood character: tiger stripe figure, live knots, mineral streaks, pale sapwood edges, and panel-to-panel color variation. These are features of the material, not defects.
Light assembly
Unlike the rest of the Silver Wing series, this one ships flat and goes together with simple assembly. That’s the trade-off for a system you can order in any configuration.

NOTES
01 / Build Your Own Layout
One system, every room
Modules combine freely and fit wherever you need them. Put a run behind the dining table and it holds everything the kitchen spills over with. Stand two in a corner and you have a coffee station. Line four along the wall under the TV and the living room gets its mid century backbone. Stack them up, run them out, add one later. The configuration follows the room instead of the other way around.
02 / Push to Open
No handles, no hardware showing
The door cabinets use a push latch. Press the front and the door swings open, press it closed and it stays shut, with no pull to interrupt the flat face of the cabinet. It is what lets a six module wall read as one clean surface rather than a grid of hardware, and it is easier to work with when your hands are full.
03 / Solid Wood Throughout
Solid wood all the way through
Solid wood inside and out, with no plywood core and no filler stock. The case is dense, heavy, and built to stay that way. Because there is no composite panel anywhere in the cabinet, there is no panel adhesive either, and panel adhesive is the source of added formaldehyde in most furniture at this price. Nothing needs to air out before the cabinet comes into the room.
04 / Storage That Adjusts
A display module with a shelf that moves
The glass door module is the one people stop and look at. A tinted glass front with an ultra clear glass shelf behind it turns a storage cube into a display case, so the camera, the ceramics, the figures you actually want seen stay visible and stay clean. The shelf sits at three different heights and lifts out altogether when you need the full opening, which means tall pieces and small ones share the same cabinet without wasting the space above. The solid door modules are built the same way inside, with an interior of 19.1 × 10.5 × 18.0 in (48.6 × 26.7 × 45.6 cm) and the same three position shelf, so you can display in one module and hide the clutter in the next.
