Solid Wood 5 Drawer Dresser, Mid Century Tall Chest of Drawers with Jewelry Tray
Five drawers, one narrow footprint. At 23.6 in (60 cm) wide and 15.7 in (40 cm) deep, the Silver Wing chest takes up about as much floor as a nightstand and gives you five full drawers in return. It stands 35.4 in (90 cm) tall, which puts the top at a height you can reach into without bending and still use as a surface for a lamp, a speaker or a record player.
A top drawer that knows what it holds. The uppermost drawer is faced in muted green with a louvered front, and inside it comes fitted with a grey velvet tray divided into compartments for rings, chains and small jewelry. The four below take socks and underwear, folded shirts, seasonal bedding and the household things you buy in bulk, each with 20.4 x 10.8 x 3.2 in (51.7 x 27.5 x 8.1 cm) of clear space inside and a metal under-mount slide that keeps the pull quiet and even.
Solid wood, straight through. The body is thermally modified poplar, which is heat treated in a sealed kiln to drive out moisture, so it holds its shape and resists damp better than untreated wood and takes on a deeper tone in the process. A third party lab test came back with formaldehyde not detected, below the 0.005 mg/m³ limit of the method.
Mid century detailing that earns its place. Wood over muted green is a color pairing that belongs to the 1950s and 60s, and the chest carries it with slim stainless steel posts let into the front corners and long carved pulls shaped in a shallow curve so your fingers find them without looking. The finish is three base coats and a topcoat.
Built to stand flat and sit close. The chest rests on a full width 2.4 in (6 cm) plinth rather than legs, which spreads the load and keeps it steady. The back of the plinth is set in 1.6 in (4 cm), so the chest pushes flush to the wall even over a baseboard, and a cord from a lamp or a turntable has somewhere to run.
It arrives assembled. No flat pack, no hardware bag. Put it where you want it and start filling it.

NOTES
01 / Color Blocking
One chest, a whole new room. Mid century color blocking with real depth.
Warm wood meets a bright painted panel, vintage and modern in the same piece, and the result has layers you keep noticing. Put it anywhere and it becomes the thing the room points at. Clutter in the living room, folded clothes in the bedroom, table linens and flatware in the dining area. One chest, many jobs, and it goes wherever the storage is short. The color pairing has nerve without shouting, so it settles in next to almost any style you already own and keeps the room composed.
02 / Sorted Storage
Five drawers, five jobs, everything in order
Five drawers, sorted top to bottom. Socks and underwear, necklaces and rings, tees and shirts, a full change of seasonal bedding, household refills. Each drawer has one job and each thing has one place, so you find it at a glance. Bedroom, living room or entry, it fills whatever storage gap the room has, and the small loose things that pile up finally have somewhere to go.
03 / Safe to Live With
Solid wood all the way through, nothing to air out
Solid wood inside and out. No plywood, no particleboard, no filler species. That means no panel adhesive, which is where added formaldehyde comes from in most case goods. A third party lab tested this chest and found formaldehyde not detected. It is dense, it is built to last, and it is safe to live with from day one, including in a house with kids.
04 / Build the Series
Build the set, keep the look
The Silver Wing series is made to be combined. A 4 drawer chest, a 6 drawer, a 9 drawer, a nightstand and a vanity, same wood, same colors, same finish and same joinery. Line them up along one wall or mix heights across a bedroom, a living room and an entry, and the staggered silhouette becomes the look rather than an accident. Adding storage later does not mean hunting for something that almost matches. One series, and the whole house is furnished.
